Graduate Engineer Trainee – Network

About the role

Reliance Jio is hiring fresh engineering graduates for its Network Infrastructure team in Mumbai. As a Graduate Engineer Trainee you will be immersed in designing, planning and expanding large‑scale telecom networks that serve millions of users across India.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business, planning and regulatory inputs to shape physical and logical network topologies.
• Assist senior architects in drafting network design blueprints for consumer and enterprise services.
• Conduct periodic capacity planning to ensure bandwidth growth and low latency.
• Prepare detailed node‑level engineering documents and monthly operating plans.
• Support evaluation, testing and validation of new vendor equipment.
• Help deploy, provision and troubleshoot LTE, FTTH and high‑capacity enterprise networks.
• Coordinate with global operations teams for safe execution of network events.
• Participate in technical seminars and webinars to stay updated on telecom standards.

Eligibility

• B.E or B.Tech in any engineering discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical).
• Fresh graduate with no prior work experience.
• Cisco CCNA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Skills

• Strong foundation in networking concepts such as OSI model, TCP/IP stack and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with LTE, 5G and FTTH technologies.
• Basic software engineering practices and infrastructure development methodologies.
• Analytical reasoning, problem‑solving ability and effective team communication.
