About the role

Qualcomm India is hiring enthusiastic engineering graduates for a 2027 software internship. The role involves designing and developing software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets across multimedia, wireless, IoT and platform‑level projects. Interns will work on real‑time embedded code, device drivers, Android/Linux applications, and communication protocol stacks while collaborating with experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software and device drivers for Qualcomm platforms.
Contribute to Android, Linux or Windows‑based mobile software projects.
Apply OS concepts, data structures and C/C++ programming to solve performance‑critical problems.
Work on wireless modem technologies such as 4G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth and related protocols.
Participate in multimedia software development for audio, video and imaging pipelines.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate progress effectively.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Graduating in 2026 or 2027 (or currently enrolled).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
