Lead Engineer (Web) - Consumer Experience Engineering

About the role

PUMA is looking for a seasoned Lead Engineer to own the frontend architecture of its global consumer web platforms. Based in Pune, you will guide the design, development, and scaling of React‑based experiences using TypeScript, Next.js and GraphQL, ensuring high performance and a seamless user journey.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall frontend architecture for consumer‑facing web applications.
• Lead a team of engineers to implement scalable solutions with React, TypeScript and Next.js.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to integrate GraphQL APIs and maintain code quality.

Eligibility

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering large‑scale web products.
• Strong communication skills aligned with PUMA’s values of being driven, vibrant, together, and authentic.
