About the role
Plentific is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to craft fast, accessible, and reliable user interfaces for its property‑technology platform. The role is fully remote, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features that serve housing providers, contractors, and residents across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript, React, TanStack Query, React Router, MaterialUI and BaseUI.
- Translate product requirements and designs into technical specifications, component APIs and state‑management patterns.
- Integrate with REST APIs, shaping contracts with backend engineers.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues, write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.
- Instrument observability with Sentry, Grafana or New Relic and address production incidents.
- Design against security risks such as XSS and CSRF.
- Produce detailed spec documents and prototype interfaces quickly.
- Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Cursor) while critically reviewing generated code.
- Collaborate through code reviews, pair programming and clear technical communication.
Eligibility
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong fundamentals in design patterns, testing, debugging and scalable code architecture.
- Proven ability to improve UI/UX and accessibility.
- Experience with frontend performance optimisation and observability tools.
- Familiarity with security best practices for web applications.
- Effective communication skills in English.
