Product Operations Analyst

About the role

PhonePe is hiring a Product Operations Analyst in Bangalore for fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of experience. The role focuses on analysing operational data, creating reports and dashboards, and driving process improvements within the company’s insurance technology platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational datasets to spot trends, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product and business teams.
• Build and maintain daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports and visual dashboards.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel, SQL and visualization tools.
• Support root‑cause investigations for operational issues and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with product, technology, business and customer‑service teams as well as external insurance partners.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations Management, Commerce, BBA, BMS or Science.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in operations, program management or product operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Skills

• Advanced Excel for reporting and data manipulation.
• SQL for extracting and analysing operational data.
• Data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create clear dashboards.
• Data analysis and problem‑solving to identify patterns and root causes.
