Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join Nucast’s remote team and help build a proprietary design system from the ground up. You will work with Next.js App Router, Tailwind CSS v4, Framer Motion and Zustand to create fast, visually‑rich UI components for our crypto‑focused product.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a custom component system without relying on third‑party UI libraries.
• Implement UI using Next.js App Router, Tailwind CSS v4, Framer Motion, TanStack Query and Zustand.
• Focus on motion and animation to make the product feel responsive and fast.
• Collaborate with the team to iterate on design decisions and improve user experience.

Eligibility

• Strong sense of typography, colour, and composition with the ability to justify design choices.
• Experience integrating AI tools into your workflow and understanding where they add value.
• Ability to take vague briefs and deliver refined, higher‑quality solutions.
• Preference for short feedback loops over lengthy processes.
• No degree or years‑of‑experience requirement; willingness to learn the crypto domain.
