About the role
NEC Software Solutions is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will provide end‑to‑end development support for large‑scale web and mobile applications. The candidate will work on bug resolution, patch creation, production issue handling and will act as a bridge between product, QA and business teams. The position is based in India and follows standard office hours.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality code fixes and patches across PL/SQL, Ionic and Angular stacks.
- Review, prioritize and communicate development support requests.
- Reproduce defects for QA and provide technical clarifications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers and product owners to ensure smooth issue resolution.
- Maintain adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines and performance best practices.
- Communicate status, risk and priority of issues to on‑shore and off‑shore stakeholders.

Eligibility
- Graduate degree – B.E. or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Skills
- Hands‑on experience with Ionic (v6+), Angular (v16+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.
- Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot.
- Solid background in PL/SQL and building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with source‑control tools such as Git, SVN or PVCS.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Desirable exposure to RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
