About the role

Lead the front‑end architecture and Next.js platform for a global stock media provider and AI data licensing ecosystem. The role is remote/hybrid across Europe, focusing on designing, building, and evolving high‑performance, scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, refactor, deploy and optimise front‑end services.
Improve team processes by identifying bottlenecks and driving enhancements.
Collaborate with product managers and leadership to shape product vision.
Build simple, well‑tested systems that deliver immediate value and scale over time.
Mentor team members through code reviews, pairing and knowledge sharing.

Eligibility

6+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript and Next.js.
Proficiency with React and Node.js.
Understanding of relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.
Experience writing unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, Playwright, Selenium).
Comfortable using AI tools in the development workflow.
Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines.
