About the role

Morningstar’s PitchBook Data Operations team is looking for an Associate Business Intelligence Analyst in Mumbai. The role focuses on turning large data sets into actionable insights through reporting, dashboards and visualisations, supporting both business and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SQL views, Tableau and Power BI dashboards that drive data‑driven decisions.
  • Design executive‑level reports that simplify complex quantitative information.
  • Analyse data from multiple sources, spot trends or anomalies and build models to test hypotheses.
  • Translate business requirements into optimal BI solutions and own new report requests end‑to‑end.
  • Train users and executives on how to interpret and act on BI metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve data operations.
