About the role

Mavenir is seeking a Member of Technical Staff – I to design, develop, and test cloud‑native software components that power next‑generation communication networks. The role focuses on building generative AI‑enabled services, scalable backend APIs, and end‑to‑end MLOps pipelines using modern Python frameworks and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop generative AI applications, including LLM fine‑tuning, RAG, agents, and prompt engineering.
  • Build and maintain Python‑based backend services with FastAPI, REST APIs, and asynchronous processing.
  • Design and operate ML pipelines, model training, evaluation, and MLOps workflows.
  • Integrate vector databases (e.g., Milvus, FAISS, Pinecone) and leverage frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring observability through logs, metrics, and tracing.
  • Collaborate on AI platform development, performance optimisation, and production‑grade deployments.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in software development and AI/ML engineering.

Skills

  • Proficient in C, C++, and Python programming.
  • Hands‑on experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agents, and prompt engineering.
  • Strong understanding of scalable system design and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face) and MLOps tools.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native environments.
  • Knowledge of vector databases and API development.
