SRE Engineer

LSEG is hiring SRE Engineers at its Bengaluru office, looking for engineering graduates with expertise in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and observability tools.

About the role

As an SRE Engineer at LSEG Bengaluru, you will work within the Risk Intelligence business unit, responsible for executing reliability engineering practices across the platform suite.

Responsibilities

• Reliability Operations: Monitor and maintain SLOs and SLIs, manage error budgets, and participate in incident response and postmortems to continuously improve platform reliability.
• Infrastructure Automation: Use Terraform and GitHub Actions to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment workflows on Azure and AWS.
• Container Orchestration: Work with Kubernetes and Docker to manage containerised workloads, ensuring services are scalable, resilient, and operating within defined parameters.
• Observability & Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Datadog and OpenTelemetry, creating dashboards, alerts, and runbooks to ensure proactive detection of issues.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Batch Year: Graduates from 2024, 2025, or 2026
• Technical Skills: Experience with Azure and AWS; proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins; knowledge of Datadog and OpenTelemetry; understanding of SRE principles, SLOs/SLIs, and error budgets
