About the role

Light & Wonder is looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join its Bengaluru team. The position focuses on building and maintaining robust UI and API test automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright, while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. The role sits within an Agile environment, collaborating with developers, product owners and other QA professionals to ensure high‑quality releases for the company’s iGaming platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design, enhance and sustain scalable automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.
  • Write and maintain Java‑based test scripts leveraging Selenium and Playwright.
  • Develop automated regression, smoke and functional suites and embed them in Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI pipelines.
  • Identify testing gaps, propose process improvements and champion best‑practice adoption.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to shape test strategies, boost coverage and support release readiness.
  • Track test cases, execution outcomes and generate reports using TestRail.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, estimations and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and help evolve automation standards across squads.

Eligibility
