About the role

Blackbaud is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Digital Services Platform team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on building innovative fundraising solutions for global customers, collaborating with product, commercial and delivery teams to deliver high‑impact digital experiences.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain custom websites, applications and APIs that extend the core platform.
Explore new product ideas through rapid prototyping and iterative delivery.
Utilise AI‑assisted coding tools throughout the software lifecycle.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to roll out regional and global initiatives.
Support pre‑sales by providing technical estimates and solution designs.
Lead technical architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability and best‑practice engineering.
Own end‑to‑end software delivery, including testing, deployment, security and production support.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Eligibility

Minimum 5 years of full‑stack development experience.
Proven ability to work in agile delivery teams.
Strong communication skills for both technical and business discussions.

Skills

React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, JavaScript (ES6).
HTML5, CSS and modern web development principles.
Design and integration of public APIs and third‑party services.
Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
