Associate Consultant / Consultant

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Associate Consultant / Consultant to lead the design, development, and deployment of production‑grade enterprise AI solutions in Mumbai. The role focuses on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, requiring strong Python expertise and hands‑on experience with modern AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and optimise end‑to‑end AI applications using Python, LangChain, LangGraph and related libraries.
• Implement RAG, GraphRAG and vector‑database pipelines (FAISS, ChromaDB, Pinecone, Milvus) for semantic search and knowledge management.
• Perform model optimisation – quantisation, compression, memory tuning – for secure, on‑premise, CPU‑constrained deployments.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion, ETL, and API integration layers using FastAPI, REST APIs, BeautifulSoup and Selenium.
• Ensure data quality, governance and AI observability through monitoring, evaluation metrics and audit trails.
• Research emerging AI techniques, prototype new models (e.g., TabPFN, TimesFM) and translate findings into business‑ready solutions.

Eligibility

• Graduation in B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 1–6 years of professional experience building production‑grade AI systems.
• Strong hands‑on Python programming skills.
• Demonstrated experience with AI model lifecycle, deployment, and enterprise security requirements.
