Graduate Trainee

About the role

Jabil is hiring Graduate Trainees for its Pune manufacturing facility. The role is an entry‑level position focused on on‑the‑job training to develop skills in manufacturing operations, production support, safety compliance and quality assurance. Trainees will learn core processes, assist in meeting daily production targets and gradually take on more responsibility under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured on‑the‑job training to transition into a support‑level manufacturing role.
• Learn and apply manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform basic to moderately complex production tasks to help meet quality and quantity targets.
• Follow established instructions, visual aids and documentation accurately.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards, reporting any deviations to supervisors.
• Assist with testing or certification activities as required for the assigned area.

Eligibility

• Completion of high school (12th) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with some prior experience.
• Ability to understand simple written instructions, visual diagrams and basic numerical data.
• Willingness to follow standardized procedures and work under supervision.

Skills

• Basic numeracy – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to calculate percentages, ratios and rates.
• Strong instruction‑following capability for step‑by‑step tasks.
• Interpretation of visual aids such as diagrams, charts and graphs.
• Awareness of quality standards and ability to follow quality procedures.
• Safety awareness and compliance with workplace health rules.
• Attention to detail for accurate execution of manufacturing instructions.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new manufacturing tasks.
