Graduate Trainee

About the role

IRIS Software is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Trainees to undergo comprehensive training and work closely with senior developers and mentors to transition from academic learning to professional software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Learning & Development: Actively participate in training programs to master the required programming languages and frameworks.
• Software Coding: Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining clean code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Debugging: Identify and fix basic bugs and issues within the software applications.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning) and work collaboratively within a team.
• Documentation: Assist in creating and updating technical documentation for software projects.

Eligibility

• Educational Background: Must hold a B.E or B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related circuit branches.
• Experience: Freshers are strictly eligible.
• Technical Skills: Strong foundation in programming basics (e.g., C, C++, Java, or Python).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, eagerness to learn new technologies, and excellent communication skills.

Skills

• Programming basics (e.g., C, C++, Java, or Python)
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and Data Structures
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL)
