Software QA Engineer 1

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Software QA Engineer 1 to join its StudyHub team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role operates in a Hybrid work model and is tailored for fresh engineering/IT graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications to verify system functionality, reliability, and usability.
• Execute detailed test cases, log defects with clear reproducible steps, and track bugs through resolution.
• Validate new feature updates and verify resolved bug fixes across various testing cycles.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, and sanity testing on regular software releases.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and QA leads to clarify requirements.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline (B.E / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc CS).
• Targeted at freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of software QA experience.

Skills

• Basic understanding of core Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Knowledge of web application architectures and mobile operating systems (iOS / Android).
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and high attention to detail.
