About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Software Development Engineer 2 to join its Bangalore office. The position offers a full‑time opportunity to work on both front‑end and back‑end components of healthcare‑focused applications, helping to design, build, debug and validate software that meets user requirements. Candidates with a B.E, B.Tech or B.Sc in Computer Science (or a related field) and up to one year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing end‑to‑end software solutions across the full stack.
  • Write, test and maintain front‑end UI code as well as back‑end services and APIs.
  • Diagnose and resolve code defects, following a structured debugging workflow.
  • Review functional specifications and contribute to validation deliverables.
  • Adopt and follow IQVIA’s software quality standards, ensuring code readability and maintainability.
  • Support small development projects under guidance, gradually taking ownership of larger tasks.
