About the role

Interview Kickstart is looking for a Software Engineer 2 to design and ship AI‑native systems that leverage large language models, AI agents, and autonomous workflows. The position is fully remote and targets candidates with 2‑4 years of software development experience who enjoy rapid prototyping and turning cutting‑edge AI ideas into production‑ready products.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement AI agents and autonomous workflows powered by LLMs.
Integrate LLMs with APIs, external tools, and vector databases to build RAG pipelines.
Prototype and launch AI‑first product ideas in close collaboration with founders.
Ensure reliability, latency, cost‑efficiency and scalability of AI services.
Stay up‑to‑date with emerging LLM orchestration frameworks and AI tooling.

Eligibility

2‑4 years of professional software development experience.
Computer Science or related engineering degree.
Strong Python programming skills.
Hands‑on experience building LLM‑powered applications or AI assistants.

Skills

Python development.
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar orchestration frameworks.
Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation.
Understanding of prompt engineering, tool calling and agent orchestration.
Backend API design and scalable system architecture.
