About the role
The Customer Support Associate will be the first point of contact for callers, addressing general queries about Ingram Micro's products and services, guiding them to the right internal teams, and following up on order‑related issues such as shipment tracking and returns. The role also involves data entry, documentation, and reporting of recurring complaints.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls and provide information on products, services, and policies.
- Route callers to appropriate departments like sales, billing, or technical support.
- Track and follow up on order status, shipment tracing, and returned goods.
- Determine eligibility for technical support and forward calls to the support queue when needed.
- Enter and retrieve data from internal databases to resolve queries.
- Prepare internal or external non‑technical documentation and forward complaint trends to relevant teams.
Eligibility
- Completed a four‑year college degree or equivalent qualification.
- 0‑2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduate status.
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow standard procedures.
- Strong grasp of company policies and the capability to explain them clearly.
