About the role

HTTPie is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in the world. You will create and enhance developer‑focused web and desktop API testing tools using React, Next.js, TypeScript and Electron, delivering a smooth experience for engineers who interact with HTTP APIs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the web interface of HTTPie’s API testing platform using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
Build and ship the cross‑platform desktop client with Electron, ensuring feature parity with the web version.
Collaborate with product, backend and design teams to translate requirements into high‑quality, performant UI components.
Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews to uphold engineering standards.
