About the role

HighLevel is building a global commerce platform that handles billions of transactions for millions of small‑and‑medium businesses. As a Software Development Engineer II – Frontend you will create and optimise the customer‑facing surfaces such as storefronts, checkout flows, catalogs, subscription management and invoicing, ensuring they perform well on low‑end devices and flaky networks.

Responsibilities

Develop and ship core commerce front‑end features including storefronts, checkout, catalog and subscription management.
Integrate HighLevel experiences into external sites using module federation, iframes and white‑label hosting while maintaining isolation and fast load times.
Own performance budgets end‑to‑end, monitoring Core Web Vitals, bundle size, render cost and main‑thread work, and enforce them in CI.
Build installable, offline‑tolerant PWAs with service workers, caching strategies and background sync.
Implement WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility and full localisation for multiple languages, currencies, tax rules and RTL layouts.
Collaborate with product managers, designers and mentor junior engineers while instrumenting client‑side telemetry.

Eligibility

Minimum 2 years of experience building production‑grade frontend applications.
Strong expertise in Vue.js, including its reactivity model and component composition.
Demonstrated performance‑first mindset using Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools and profiling tools.
Hands‑on experience with service workers, caching strategies and offline behaviour.
Proficiency with client‑side state management and large‑scale caching (TanStack Query or equivalent).
Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and internationalisation best practices.
