Desk Side Services Engineer (Asset Management Software)

About the role

The Desk Side Services Engineer will design, develop and maintain automation tools that support HCLTech's asset management and ITIL processes. Working closely with clients, you will deliver high‑quality code, troubleshoot existing systems, and document solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Write and enhance code for asset‑management projects using appropriate programming languages while meeting time, quality and cost targets.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing asset‑management systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Engage with clients to capture new feature requests and implement enhancements that align with best practices.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date documentation for code, processes and system configurations.

Eligibility

• Fresh graduate eligible for the 2025 or 2026 batch.
• Open to any graduate degree.

Skills

• Understanding of asset‑management concepts and related technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages used for automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication for client interaction and documentation.
• Optional: ITIL Foundation certification.
