Associate II

About the role

As an Associate II at HCA Healthcare India, you will develop and maintain software components, APIs and automation tools that support HR transformation and analytics. The role involves coding, testing, documentation and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, reliable internal applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug and maintain APIs, scripts and internal applications for HR analytics.
• Convert user stories and technical specs into production‑ready software following coding standards.
• Provide enhancements, fix defects, improve performance and support production issues.
• Create unit and integration tests, write technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, UX, data and DevOps teams to clarify requirements and ensure smooth delivery.
• Leverage approved AI coding tools to draft code, tests and documentation while validating outputs for security and quality.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, HR, Data Analytics or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• Typically 1‑2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java or C#.
• Familiarity with version control, testing practices and basic software development lifecycle.

Skills

• Strong foundation in software development and API design.
• Experience with Git or similar version‑control systems.
• Understanding of secure coding, data privacy and confidentiality for HR systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot code using logs, tests and documentation.
• Basic AI literacy for assisted coding, testing and documentation.
• Nice‑to‑have: React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
