CA Intern (Industrial Training)

About the role

Harman International is hiring a CA Intern for Industrial Training in Bangalore. The role is part of the global Record to Report (R2R) Finance Division and offers hands-on exposure to global accounting standards, financial reporting, and international corporate compliance systems.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing Processes: Drafting, preparing, and posting standard and ad-hoc journal ledger entries.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Reconciling structural balance sheet accounts using global corporate templates.
• Financial Data System Management: Maintaining master data records, cost centers, and tracking codes inside corporate SAP ERP environments.
• Corporate Financial Consolidation: Reporting active, validated ledger financials into the dedicated global Harman consolidation system.
• Compliance Review Coordination: Performing periodic reviews on general ledger control documentation.

Eligibility

• Must be a registered CA Student who has cleared Intermediate exams and is currently a CA Finalist looking to pursue exactly 1 year of mandatory Industrial Training.
• Solid foundational accounting principles, with a clear understanding of international financial reporting standards.

Skills

• Foundational familiarity with structural financial data points, such as Chart of Accounts, cost objects, cost centers, and WBS elements.
• Prior exposure to SAP is highly valued.
• Exceptional command over the MS Office Suite, specifically advanced data operations in Microsoft Excel.
