About the role

Harman is hiring an Associate Engineer AI/ML (Python) in Bangalore to build next‑generation Agentic AI solutions. The role blends machine‑learning model work, LLM‑driven workflows and full‑stack backend development, offering fresh graduates a fast‑track into automotive‑focused intelligent systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Agentic AI pipelines using Large Language Models, LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Develop RESTful services and micro‑services with Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) flows leveraging vector stores and embeddings.
• Engineer ML models, perform feature engineering and data preprocessing using TensorFlow, PyTorch and related libraries.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes, primarily on AWS.
• Write asynchronous tasks with Celery and secure APIs using OAuth/JWT.
• Collaborate in an agile team across the full software development lifecycle.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year) in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science or a related discipline.
• 0‑2 years of experience or strong academic/project exposure in AI/ML or software development.
• Passion for autonomous systems, LLMs and cloud‑native technologies.

Skills

• Python programming (mandatory).
• Web frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI.
• Agentic AI tools: LangChain, LlamaIndex.
• Machine‑learning libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, Pandas, NumPy.
• REST API design, SQL, and ORM usage.
• Version control with Git.
• Containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Cloud services on AWS.
• Experience with vector databases or search engines (Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL, ScyllaDB).
