Vice President - Frontend Engineering (UI/UX)

About the role

The Vice President of Frontend Engineering will spearhead the design and architecture of Goldman Sachs' wealth‑management web platforms in Bangalore. Reporting to senior leadership, this role drives the creation of reusable UI components, ensures a seamless user experience, and integrates AI‑assisted workflows using modern frontend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall frontend architecture and design‑system strategy for wealth‑management applications.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to translate business requirements into high‑quality UI solutions.
• Mentor and guide senior engineers, fostering best practices in React, TypeScript, and modern web standards.
• Oversee code quality, performance optimization, and accessibility compliance across all frontend deliverables.
• Drive adoption of AI‑enabled tools to streamline development and enhance user interactions.

Eligibility

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in frontend development, preferably in a lead or architectural role.
• Proven track record of building large‑scale, high‑traffic web applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite in Bangalore.
