Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Management-F&S Analyst

About the role

The AWM Management‑F&S Analyst joins Goldman Sachs' Asset & Wealth Management finance team in Bangalore. Reporting to the CFO of AWM, the analyst supports strategic finance projects, builds complex financial models, analyses profitability, forecasts performance and creates business‑intelligence visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Participate in short‑ and medium‑term finance projects for the AWM division.
• Develop expertise in financial data, systems and operating infrastructure.
• Prepare presentations on AWM financials, strategy, risk and product performance for senior leadership.
• Benchmark operating results against industry peers and conduct marginal profitability analysis.
• Produce regular profitability reports, P&L forecasts and support the firm‑wide budgeting process.
• Analyse growth‑market initiatives, compensation strategies, sales productivity and expense‑saving opportunities.

Eligibility

• Post‑graduate qualification in finance – MBA, M.Fin, MSF, PGDM, PGFM or CA.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive team player capable of managing multiple projects.

Skills

• Financial analysis and modeling.

• Experience with Qlik, Tableau, Power BI or Alteryx.
• Quantitative problem‑solving and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work with large data sets.
