About the role

Caterpillar is looking for a Material Availability Analyst to optimise supplier performance and manage inventory across its Bangalore network. The position is full‑time, onsite and open to recent graduates or candidates with up to three years of supply‑chain experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, ensuring requirements are met and past‑due schedules are minimised.
Monitor and control inventory levels to avoid excess stock within the supply network.
Review schedule releases and coordinate on‑time shipments.
Collaborate with global purchasing buyers and analysts to resolve problem parts.
Apply distribution requirements planning (DRP) techniques to manage material flow across plants and warehouses.

Eligibility

Degree or equivalent experience is desired.
0‑3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or related fields.
Open to candidates from the 2023‑2026 graduating batches.
