About the role

The apprenticeship program at Getinge offers recent engineering graduates a one‑year, full‑time position to develop software solutions for healthcare technology. You will work alongside senior engineers, gain exposure to embedded and cloud platforms, and build a solid foundation for a career in enterprise software.

Responsibilities

Support senior engineers in debugging, building, and testing new software features.
Create proof‑of‑concept prototypes under guidance.
Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting data from engineering tests and validation activities.
Help maintain technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to broaden practical knowledge.
Participate in training sessions to improve skills in embedded software and cloud technologies.
Handle tools and test equipment safely to ensure an efficient workplace.
Follow SOPs, safety regulations, and quality standards in all tasks.
Undertake additional duties as assigned to support learning and business goals.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree (B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc, MCA, or M.Tech) in Computer Science, IT, AI‑ML or related fields, graduating in 2025.
Minimum academic score of 60% or 6.5 CGPA.
No prior full‑time employment; internships are acceptable.

Skills

Strong programming fundamentals.
Knowledge of embedded software concepts.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
Ability to troubleshoot and test software components.
Basic data collection and analysis capabilities.
Good documentation and technical writing skills.
