About the role

Fynd is looking for a senior Software Development Engineer in Test to build and maintain automated testing frameworks for web and backend services. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality releases, fast feedback loops, and reliable software that scales with the business.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and upkeep automated test frameworks and suites.
Define and execute functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end test strategies.
Write clean, reusable automation code and supporting utilities.
Partner with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to set test coverage and quality standards.
Log, triage and track defects, driving timely resolutions with engineering teams.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
At least 4 years of experience in test automation or SDET roles.
Strong programming skills in at least one language.
Solid grasp of QA methodologies, test design and defect lifecycle.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Skills

Test automation frameworks and tools.
Programming (e.g., Java, Python, or similar).
Version control systems such as Git.
CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
API testing and performance/security testing basics.
