Full Stack Web Engineer

About the role

Fueled is looking for a remote Full Stack Web Engineer based in Latin America to craft enterprise‑grade WordPress experiences. You will translate designs and user stories into clean, production‑ready code using modern React, PHP, HTML and CSS, while collaborating with distributed teams across the US.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom Gutenberg blocks, plugins and themes with React.js and modern PHP.
• Own tickets from requirement gathering to pull‑request submission, documenting decisions and tests.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, reusable components within WordPress projects.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools to speed up implementation while rigorously validating output.
• Incorporate feedback from senior engineers to continuously improve code quality.
• Communicate asynchronously in English with designers, engineers and delivery leads.

Eligibility

• Proven agency or consultancy experience building large‑scale WordPress solutions.
• Comfortable across the web stack: HTML, CSS, modern PHP, JavaScript and the Gutenberg ecosystem.
• Regular use of AI tools in development and ability to spot inaccuracies.
• Strong passion for code craftsmanship and continuous learning.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Resident of any Latin American country and able to work with US time zones.
