Software Engineer

About the role

As a Software Engineer at Flipkart, you will design and develop scalable components, translate product requirements into clean code, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact features for our e‑commerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Interpret product requirements, decompose projects into tasks, and provide accurate effort estimates.
• Write modular, extensible, readable and high‑performance code using suitable data structures and technologies.
• Perform high‑level design with guidance, selecting appropriate tools and tech stacks.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering their technical growth.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to align on shared vision and deliverables.

Eligibility

• B.Tech, M.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 2.5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in one programming language such as Java, C++, Ruby, Scala, or Clojure.
• Solid object‑oriented programming fundamentals.
• Experience with multithreading and concurrency programming.
• Ability to handle complex business flows and large data volumes.
• Prior experience in agile environments and CI/CD pipelines.
