Junior Engineer – Quality

About the role

Flex is seeking a Junior Engineer – Quality for its Pune facility. The role focuses on supporting supplier quality programs, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet Flex’s high standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier validation audits and guide suppliers through APQP processes.
• Lead supplier approval, evaluating manufacturing capabilities and HSE risks.
• Support new product launches by verifying supplier quality compliance.
• Coordinate root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and on‑site verification visits.
• Promote Lean, Six Sigma, Poka‑Yoke, MSA, and PFMEA techniques for process improvement.
• Assist the Quality Manager with reporting, cost recovery, and audit readiness.

Eligibility

• B.E or B.Tech in Electrical & Telecom, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Graduation batch years 2025 or 2026.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.

Skills

• Six Sigma methodology.
• Lean manufacturing principles.
• ISO 14001 compliance.
• FMEA, PPAP and APQP knowledge.
• Supplier audit and validation experience.
