About the role

Flex is seeking an Associate Engineer – Machine Programming in Chennai to support product development and manufacturing teams. The role focuses on managing engineering change orders, creating part numbers, and handling bill‑of‑materials data using Agile and Baan PLM systems.

Responsibilities

Create part numbers and AVL entries in Agile and Baan.
Download and release customer specifications through CDC.
Act as a Change Analyst during new product introductions and manage ECOs globally.
Release part lists for new models and post‑ECO implementations.
Utilize Agile PLM for ECO creation, routing, tracking and distribution.
Coordinate with process, product engineering, and materials teams on updates and queries.

Eligibility

Diploma or B.Sc in Electrical/Electronics or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
0‑2 years of experience in NPI/ECO engineering, preferably in the EMS industry.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
