Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

FINN is seeking a senior‑level Frontend Engineer to work remotely across APAC and EMEA. You will craft sophisticated web and mobile experiences for its earned‑wage access platform using Angular and Ionic, driving features from concept to production while collaborating closely with product and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch complex user‑facing features for both web and mobile interfaces.
• Own the full lifecycle of features – analyse problems, devise solutions, ship quickly, and iterate based on real‑world usage.
• Shape technical direction by promoting better patterns, tooling, and developer experience.
• Partner with product managers and designers to co‑create solutions rather than merely implement specifications.
• Write clean, high‑performance code while maintaining a rapid delivery pace.
• Elevate team standards through thorough code reviews and mentorship.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering complex frontend products, preferably with web and mobile exposure.
• Strong intuition for product experience and willingness to question sub‑optimal designs.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern component architecture.
• Ability to work autonomously, taking full ownership of problems.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating trade‑offs and influencing decisions.
