About the role

Extreme Networks is looking for an entry‑level Associate QA Software Engineer to join its Bangalore team. The position is open to recent B.Tech graduates who are eager to start a career in software quality assurance, test automation, and networking product testing. You will work remotely while collaborating with development engineers to ensure the reliability of cloud‑driven networking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and execute manual and automated test plans for software applications.
  • Create and maintain Selenium‑based automation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Track, log and verify defects using JIRA, working closely with developers to achieve timely resolution.
  • Perform performance testing to assess response times and stability under load.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality metrics.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to knowledge‑sharing within the QA team.
