Front-End Engineer III

About the role

Expedia Group is looking for a senior Front‑End Engineer to design and deliver high‑scale, high‑performance car‑rental shopping and booking experiences for its global Cars platform. The role is based onsite in Gurgaon and requires deep expertise in modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Optimize front‑end performance to handle large traffic volumes.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to translate requirements into functional features.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing and adherence to best practices.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical roadmap.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience building scalable web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
