Lead Software Engineer

About the role

Blue Yonder is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own the end‑to‑end creation of high‑performance full‑stack applications. The role involves shaping architecture, building reusable UI components, and delivering robust backend services while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable full‑stack solutions.
• Craft modern, reusable React and TypeScript UI components, hooks, and libraries.
• Build and maintain performant Node.js REST APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to Java/Spring Boot services and overall backend architecture as needed.
• Make key technical decisions for microservices, event‑driven, cloud‑native, and multi‑tenant SaaS platforms.
• Design systems for high scalability, performance, resiliency, availability, and security.
• Promote best practices around coding standards, testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment.
• Diagnose complex production and performance issues and devise sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, platform teams, and other engineering groups.
