Software Developer – Automation and AI

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Software Developer – Automation and AI to design intelligent, automated software applications during the core build phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Developing, configuring, and updating core platform software modules with an explicit focus on intelligent automation layers.
• Designing, building, and deploying custom automated framework environments and automation scripts for system orchestration and deployment structures.
• Contributing to early-stage AI/ML component implementation and coordinating smooth analytical model ingestion within runtime operations.
• Executing unit, component, and integrated system-level tests with a heavy focus on configuring structured test automation scripts.
• Implementing security reliability controls throughout deployment codebases following strict corporate engineering standards.

Eligibility

• Must possess a regular full-time B.E / B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or relevant quantitative fields.
• Solid proficiency in Python programming optimized for infrastructure automation, process execution, and algorithmic scripting.
• Functional familiarity with DevOps automation tools and pipeline components including Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Sonar, Helm, and artifact registries.
