About the role

Accuris is seeking a Junior AI Developer to join its Bangalore team on a hybrid basis. The role involves assisting senior engineers in building, testing, and maintaining AI‑driven features, integrating machine‑learning models and large language models into existing products, and handling data pipelines under guided mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Help design, develop, test, and maintain AI‑powered application components.
  • Support integration of machine‑learning and LLM capabilities via APIs and AI frameworks.
  • Prepare, clean, transform, and validate data for AI applications.
  • Experiment with prompts, model configurations, and retrieval techniques to improve output quality.
  • Develop and run tests for AI functionality, performance, and responsible AI compliance.
  • Document experiments, implementation decisions, and test results.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, QA, product managers, and DevOps teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, IT or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Practical experience demonstrated through projects, internships or hackathons is welcomed.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python for application development and data processing.
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
  • Basic knowledge of machine‑learning concepts and model inference.
  • Experience with APIs, JSON, and integrating external services.
  • Data manipulation, preprocessing, and validation skills.
  • Familiarity with Git and standard software development practices.
