Senior React.js Frontend Engineer

About the role

Enterprise Bot is seeking a senior frontend engineer to design and deliver high‑performance web applications that power AI‑driven conversational assistants. You will work with React, TypeScript and modern state‑management tools to build responsive, secure interfaces for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable React applications, creating reusable component libraries.
• Manage application state using Redux, Zustand or Context API and optimise rendering performance.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, handling caching, optimistic updates and error management.
• Build AI‑enabled features such as LLM‑driven workflows, real‑time dashboards, chat interfaces and streaming UI components.
• Apply security best practices including OAuth, JWT handling and protection against XSS/CSRF.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests, debug production issues and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, QA and product teams, documenting architecture and component usage.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional experience building large‑scale frontend applications with React.

Skills

• Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in React, including hooks, functional components and component lifecycle.
• Proficiency with state‑management libraries such as Redux, Zustand or Context API.
• Experience integrating REST and GraphQL services, using tools like React Query or Apollo.
• Performance optimisation techniques: code‑splitting, lazy loading, memoisation.
• Implementation of authentication flows (OAuth, JWT) and frontend security standards.
• Building real‑time interfaces using WebSockets or Server‑Sent Events.
• Testing with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright.
• Version control with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
