About the role

Electronic Arts is looking for a Java Software Engineer Intern to join its Digital Platform team in Hyderabad. The internship offers hands‑on experience building large‑scale, cloud‑native services for one of the world’s biggest gaming platforms, with mentorship from senior engineers and product managers.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to design and prototype distributed applications.
Develop and deploy new micro‑services and enhance existing ones.
Maintain high code quality, testability, and automated test coverage.
Analyse performance issues in cloud‑native applications and optimise for scale.
Implement observability, metrics, tracing and telemetry for new features.
Communicate progress and blockers in daily stand‑ups and across global teams.

Eligibility

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering or a related field.
Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, design patterns and CI/CD concepts.
