About the role

eBay is seeking an AI Engineer to join its Finance Innovation & Transformation team in Bengaluru. The position is hybrid and focuses on designing, building, and deploying production‑grade AI, machine learning and automation solutions that streamline finance processes and drive smarter decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with finance and cross‑functional partners to translate business problems into scalable AI and automation designs.
Develop end‑to‑end AI models, intelligent agents, web applications and workflow automations using Python, SQL and modern AI/ML frameworks.
Construct and maintain robust data pipelines and reusable components for reliable, long‑term adoption.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and incorporate suitable tools to accelerate delivery and add business value.
Monitor, refine and scale deployed solutions to ensure performance, reliability and alignment with evolving needs.
Work closely with product, engineering, IT and other teams to ensure seamless delivery across the solution lifecycle.
