About the role

DriveWealth is looking for a senior‑level software engineer to lead the design and delivery of high‑performance, low‑latency brokerage systems for its Post Trade platform. The position is based in Hyderabad, India and follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular office attendance.

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture and delivery of Java‑based brokerage services.
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑services that support equities, options, and mutual‑fund trading.
Monitor application and database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and propose optimization solutions.
Create automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust test coverage.
Collaborate with broker‑dealer operations, product, and agile teams to evolve the trading stack.
Work with event‑driven architectures using Kafka and container orchestration on Kubernetes.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Legal right to work in India at the time of application.

Skills

Strong Java development experience (5+ years).
Proficiency with REST APIs, micro‑services, and event‑driven design (Kafka, Kubernetes).
Hands‑on knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Linux scripting.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and test‑driven development.
Understanding of high‑availability, 24/7 trading systems.
