QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Dassault Systèmes is hiring a QA Automation Engineer at its technology center in Pune, Maharashtra. This role is a fantastic opportunity for candidates holding B.E/B.Tech qualifications with 1–3 years of professional experience in software testing.

Responsibilities

• Testing Lifecycle: Perform rigorous Functional, API, Regression, Load, and Performance Testing on Web and Client-Server Applications.
• Test Management: Design, systematically execute, and thoroughly maintain test cases, test plans, and accurately track application defects.
• Automation Engineering: Develop, scale, and maintain automated UI and API test scenarios using robust Python-based test automation frameworks.
• AI Integration: Leverage modern AI tools to strategically generate test cases, test data, and fundamentally improve overall QA efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure we deliver high-quality, sustainable products with speed to market.

Eligibility

• Academic Foundation: Candidates must hold a full-time B.E/B.Tech qualification from a recognized institution.
• Experience Bracket: Possess 1 to 3 years of hands-on, professional QA and software testing experience.
• Core QA Competency: Strong, practical knowledge of Functional, API, Regression, and Performance Testing methodologies.
• Tool Proficiency: Professional experience with Postman and performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust. Familiarity with Selenium or Playwright.
• Programming & AI: Solid hands-on experience scripting with Python-based frameworks and actively using AI tools to assist QA activities.
