About the role

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer III to join its TechOps SRE team in Bangalore. The position focuses on building AI‑driven agents that automate detection, diagnosis and remediation of infrastructure issues across large‑scale, mission‑critical systems. You will work on UK‑shift hours, collaborating with senior engineers to create self‑healing tooling that reduces manual toil.

Responsibilities

Design and implement AI agents that autonomously resolve operational problems on bare‑metal and virtual servers.
Document existing manual workflows and translate them into event‑driven automation pipelines using LLM‑based frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen or CrewAI.
Integrate agentic workflows with monitoring stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) for anomaly detection and incident response.
Support AI‑assisted incident response tools that correlate signals and suggest remediation actions.
Maintain platform reliability metrics—availability, latency, throughput—and automate routine operational tasks.
Write clear technical documentation and runbooks for all automation solutions.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
At least five years of professional software‑engineering experience with exposure to systems or infrastructure.
Strong analytical mindset, ownership attitude and ability to work in a globally distributed team.

Skills

Proficiency in Python (preferred) and solid experience with Go, Java or C++.
Hands‑on Linux administration and familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus or Grafana.
Knowledge of configuration‑management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Interest or experience in building LLM‑powered automation, prompt engineering and agentic frameworks.
