About the role

6sense is looking for a senior AI engineer to advance its agent and MCP platform. Based in Bangalore, the role involves building production‑grade LLM agents, extending orchestration frameworks, and shaping APIs and tool‑chains that power contextual intelligence for B2B customers.

Responsibilities

Extend LangGraph‑style orchestrators with typed state, routing, checkpointing and human‑in‑the‑loop steps.
Design and scale APIs, tools and the MCP layer for multi‑tenant, high‑throughput workloads.
Integrate security, permissioning and cost controls into every agent, API and tool.
Collaborate with the Contextual Intelligence team to deliver fresh, grounded context to agents.
Own end‑to‑end evaluation pipelines, tracing, and analytics for agent performance.
Mentor junior engineers, write design docs, and participate in on‑call rotations.

Eligibility

5+ years of experience building distributed production software.
2+ years of experience delivering LLM‑based systems in real‑world settings.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Skills

Strong Python development.
Experience with LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks.
Designing robust APIs and tool interfaces for LLM callers.
Distributed‑systems fundamentals such as idempotency and fault tolerance.
Multi‑tenant security, authentication and authorization.
Cloud platforms (AWS) and data‑pipeline tools.
