Frontend Software Engineer - Process Management

About the role

Corporater is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to strengthen its Process Manager platform. The role focuses on building BPMN‑based modeling tools, interactive canvas visualizations, and real‑time collaboration features that enable enterprise customers to design, automate, and govern complex business processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BPMN modeling capabilities using diagram‑js, BPMN.io and custom visualisation libraries.
• Create interactive canvas elements such as drag‑and‑drop, palettes, property panels, overlays and context menus.
• Develop high‑performance SVG diagram rendering for large process models.
• Build reusable UI components and visualisation primitives with React, TypeScript, GraphQL (Apollo), Redux Toolkit and Styled Components.
• Optimise frontend performance for extensive process definitions and complex diagram interactions.
• Write unit and integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Contribute to modernising the frontend stack and evaluate new technologies.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, designers and fellow frontend developers.
• Drive discovery, assess design alternatives and propose practical technical solutions.

Eligibility

• Minimum 4 years of production‑grade experience with React and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to build large‑scale frontend applications.
• Strong knowledge of SVG, canvas manipulation and performance optimisation for complex visualisations.
• Experience with state‑management tools such as Redux Toolkit.
• Solid testing discipline using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Hands‑on experience integrating GraphQL or REST APIs.
• Proficiency in CSS‑in‑JS approaches, e.g., Styled Components.
• Understanding of browser performance and optimisation techniques.
