Junior Engineer

About the role

Cornerstone is hiring for the position of Junior Engineer. The role involves working with the Quality Engineering team and participating in both manual and automated testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Quality Engineering team on manual and automated test cases.
• Learn and contribute to test automation frameworks using Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product features and requirements.
• Participate in test planning and test execution activities.
• Log and track software defects.
• Participate in regression testing.

Eligibility

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• MCA or MCS candidates are also eligible.
• Strong academic background with exposure to AI technologies and programming.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence fundamentals and concepts.
• Good understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming concepts, preferably using Java.
• Understanding of Data Structures and OOPS concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, C++, or .NET.
